RStudio has been widely used in many settings. Among its functionality, the shiny package makes it easy to build interactive web applications or shiny apps. Shiny apps can be hosted as web pages in different ways such as via shinyapps.io. Thanks to the flexibility of shiny, many statistical or mathematical concepts (p-value and singular value decomposition) can be demonstrated via shiny. This discussion venue is aimed for educators to share or learn the idea of using shiny in classroom. College and high school teachers are welcome to join the discussion.
