"Alternative grading" refers to grading practices that prioritize transparent expectations, actionable feedback, marks indicating progress, and reassessment opportunities. In this birds-of-a-feather discussion, we'll talk about strategies, questions, successes, and challenges that arise when implementing alternative grading. Whether you are curious about alternative grading, or whether you've already implemented some or all of its tenets, you are welcome! Participants are invited to share specific examples of alternative grading in their courses.
