P1-07: Using Socrative's Space Race to Engage and Assess Statistics Students

Abstract

This poster will illustrate the use of the free, web-based software Socrative for engaging students in both introductory and major-level courses. The presentation will provide a brief overview of the Socrative software and will further explore the Space Race tool. This presentation will also cover how and why the software was used as well as the pros and cons of using this software in the classroom.
