Abstract

Teaching Data Ethics: The ethical use of data is an important topic to introduce the subject of research in Introductory Statistics. This session will include conversations about confidentiality, informed consent, special populations, and the history of Institutional Research Boards. Participants will see available resources and hear how the presenter incorporates these topics in her classroom.
