2027 U.S. Conference on Teaching Statistics

Every other summer, CAUSE organizes the U. S. Conference on Teaching Statistics, which brings together teachers of statistics and data science to exchange ideas about improving their teaching.

The 2027 USCOTS will be held at Penn State in State College, PA from Thursday, June 24th - Saturday, 26th, with pre-conference events starting on Tuesday, June 22nd.  The main conference will start with lunch on Thursday, June 24th and end after lunch on Saturday, June 26th.  This is a slight adjustment from previous years.

The theme for USCOTS 2027 is "Constancy and Disruption". In an age of disruption, what guiding principles do you aim to hold constant amid the disruption?  On the flipside, how do you embrace the disruption to transform your teaching and education research?
