Abstract
Panelists from a range of institution types will discuss their experiences in engaging undergraduate students in research. Common questions and concerns encountered by faculty will be addressed, including issues related to the generation of research topic ideas, running capstone courses & independent summer research, statistical consulting, dissemination of findings, and compensation & funding. There will also be time for an open question period from attendees, and additional materials will be made available after the session.
