For the powerball lottery a player chooses 5 distinct number from 1 to 49 and an additional number from 1 to 40 called the "powerball" number. On the March 300 drawing of the Powerball lottery, 110 players chose for the 5 numbers 22,28,32,33,39 and chose 40 for the jackpot number. These five were the same as the five winning numbers but the powerball number was 42. The prize for getting the five numbers correct for a 1$ ticket is $100,000. I1$ to choose a number from 2 to 5 and if you he wins any prize other than the jackpot (all six number correct) his prize is doubled. The doubling number is the same for all players and is determined by choosing a random number from 2,3,4,5,5.
