Mobility and Disability Dataset

Description

This mobility and disability dataset is a subset constructed from the 2017 National Household Travel Survey, including 86,521 observations and 40 categorical and numeric variables. The goal is to examine factors or characteristics that are associated with different travel behaviors of people who have a disability "that makes it difficult to travel outside of home". From a DEI perspective, analyzing this dataset helps study economic and social participation from a critical disability lens and provide policy implications for building a more equitable and inclusive transport system. This dataset can be used for various data science and statistical projects such as data visualization, data wrangling, and correlation.
