A comment is a short note that communicates information about a particular resource. You can add comments about any resource in the portal. These comments allow users to communicate easily about a selected resource.
While you do not need to be logged in to view comments, you must be logged in to add, delete, or edit comments.
You will find the comment section at the bottom of each resource's full record. To add your own comment, click the Add Comment button and enter your comment in the provided text box. You may be asked to type a verification code to prevent automated postings. To preview your comment before posting it, click the Preview button. To post your comment without previewing it, click the Add Comment button. To cancel without posting your comment, click the Cancel button. If you have previewed your comment, click the Post New Comment button on the Preview Comment screen in order to post the comment.

To delete a comment, find the resource record from which you would like to remove your comment by searching or browsing. Once you find the appropriate resource's full record, you will find the comments section at the bottom of the record. Find the appropriate comment, and click the Delete Message button. While you may delete any of your own comments, only certain users designated by the Portal Administrator have the rights to delete other users' comments.
You must be logged in to delete a comment.
To edit a comment, find the resource record with the comment you'd like to edit by searching or browsing. Once you find the appropriate resource's full record, you will find the comments section at the bottom of the record. Find the appropriate comment, and click the Edit Message button. There, you can edit the comment in the text box. Click the appropriate button to save your changes or delete the comment.
