Dear all,

Happy Saturday! CAUSE Research Reading Group meetings continue! It has been so wonderful to meet and talk to many of you in-person at USCOTS 2023 conference this week. If you want to continue some of those conversations or start a new one (no matter you join USCOTS 2023 or not), please consider participating in the CAUSE Research Reading Group this summer! Our next meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, June 7th, at at 12:00 – 1:00PM ET (11am CT, 10am MT, 9am PT). Please find the link for registration and the link to the article below.

Zoom: Register in advance for this meeting: https://ufl.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJcrcu-hqjIvGdUsOB8W-w7esKEM_IMvAewx

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Don’t worry if you haven’t participated in our previous meetings yet. All meetings are independent from each other, so please join us whenever your schedule permits. All are welcome!

We can’t do this without your help, so please consider hosting a session for this reading group! If you hosted a session previously, please consider hosting again this summer! We are still looking for volunteers to host many sessions throughout the summer. Please find the recommended reading list and specific dates for Summer 2023 via this link. Note that the reading list is merely a suggestion. Please feel free to bring in any paper related to Statistics and Data Science Education for discussion (perhaps one of the papers you want to read after USCOTS 2023) when you sign up to host a session. Big thanks in advance to those who can help host a session this summer : )

As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Shu-Min or Megan if you have any questions or suggestions. We are all ears!

Look forward to having you join us next Wednesday and through the summer,

Shu-Min & Megan
